The Verdict

Pretty even, honestly. Both destinations showed potential savings in the 34–44% range on comparable luxury hotels.

What differs more than the savings percentage is the price level. Cancun's top properties trend toward all-inclusive luxury, where the member savings are applied to already-higher base prices. Cabo has more variety across mid-range and high-end options.

If you're spending $500–$900/night at retail anyway, the savings at either destination are substantial in dollar terms.
